Linkbycar was built by engineers who kept hitting the same wall. The vehicle already knew where it was, how far it had run and how it was holding up, yet fleets, insurers and leasing teams were still bolting boxes onto cars to find out. That felt backwards.
So we read what the car already sends, put it in the same format for every brand, and give it back through one API. On compatible vehicles there is nothing to fit and no vehicle comes off the road. Where a manufacturer does not open a model, we fit a Linkbycar box.
We are a European company and we host in the EU. We build for the people who use this every day: the fleet manager who wants one view, the claims team that needs the facts fast, the leasing operator who cannot pull a car off the road to install a tracker. Those customers are why the company exists, and we treat them that way.

What we do
We give fleets, leasing companies, insurers and mobility services the data their vehicles produce: location, mileage, fuel and battery level, diagnostics and driving data, in the same format for every brand. It comes from the manufacturer when the vehicle is compatible, and from a Linkbycar box otherwise.
Why it matters
A box in every vehicle costs money, takes the vehicle off the road for fitting, and can fail. Recent vehicles already send their data to the manufacturer, from day one. We read it there first and keep the box for the vehicles that need one.
