The score combines charging patterns, depth of discharge, exposure to ambient temperature, fast-charge frequency and driving style. We weight each factor by its measured effect on long-term battery health.
02Does BCS work with the manufacturers' telematics?
Yes. We read electric vehicles across 30+ brands. The data comes straight from the vehicle's built-in telematics unit, so new models can be added as they reach the market, with nothing to fit.
03Can the score support insurance, leasing, or resale decisions?
Yes. Many of our partners use the score to adjust insurance premiums, certify battery condition at end of lease, and document its health when the vehicle is resold. The score can be audited and is based entirely on recorded usage.
