Predictive Maintenance

Service each vehicle when it needs it

Real odometer, engine hours and fault codes from the car itself, so a van comes off the road when it needs to and not a month early.

Predictive Maintenance

What the vehicle reports before it fails

Plan each service from what the vehicle reports, so fewer repairs take you by surprise.

  1. 01

    Service alerts

An alert when a service is due or a repair is coming, early enough to book the workshop before the vehicle has to stop.

  2. 02

    Diagnostics

Read the diagnostics the vehicle already publishes: fault codes, battery voltage and, where the brand provides it, tyre pressure. Act on a fault before it becomes a breakdown.

  3. 03

    Planned servicing against reactive repair

See what planned servicing costs against reactive repair, per vehicle, from the vehicle's own record.

In detail

Maintenance planned from what the vehicle reports

01

Wear inferred from use

We read what the vehicle reports: fault codes, real odometer, engine hours and battery voltage. Wear parts are inferred from use and from the manufacturer's own service schedule, not measured directly.

02

Scheduling around your workshop

Rank the services across your fleet by urgency, vehicle availability and workshop capacity. Book them for the days a vehicle was due to be off the road anyway.

Common Questions
About predictive maintenance

01How far in advance can issues be predicted?

Depending on the component and data availability, our models can flag potential issues days to weeks before failure. Battery degradation trends are typically visible weeks ahead. Wear parts such as brakes are inferred from use and from the manufacturer service schedule, not measured directly.

02Does this replace the manufacturer's service schedule?

No, it adds to it. On top of the intervals the manufacturer recommends, you see the condition the vehicle reports, and decide whether a service should come sooner or can wait.

03What diagnostic data is collected?

We read what the manufacturer publishes for the vehicle: fault codes, battery voltage, real odometer and engine hours, and where the brand provides them, service indicators. Coverage varies by brand and model year.

See Linkbycar running in thirty minutes

Send us your plates or VINs. We come back vehicle by vehicle: which ones are compatible with manufacturer data, which ones need a box, and what data each one returns.

  • Thirty minutes with our team

We show you the platform live and answer your questions. Send us your plates and we tell you what each vehicle can report.

  • Nothing to fit on compatible vehicles

Compatible vehicles are activated remotely.* No workshop visit, no fitting, and no vehicle off the road.

  • No commitment

You keep the vehicle-by-vehicle answer whether or not you go further with us.

* Activation time depends on the manufacturer and can take up to 48 hours.
